Haven't they run at this track in years past. Why were the tires breaking down yesterday?

The new car puts a much heavier load on the right side tires for whatever reason. They had a 3 car tire test earlier this year and the most they could run on a set of tires was 6-7 laps. Goodyear "asssumed" with more cars out there, the rubber would "lay" into the track like it normally does, but it never did. All the "dust" was just collecting at the top of the track instead of grinding into the racing surface. Goodyear and NASCAR ought to be ashamed!
