He has one more year left at $10 million, I think, for '09...no way Colorado can pay him to stay and Sox have the young guns to deal. May take an Ellsbury/Mastrerson type package, but I would do it. Holiday could produce like Manny has in Fenway...I think he is one of the few that possibly could.

Well god damn, i'm not willing to lose Ramirez and Ellsbury for Holiday. No way. Prospects, and that's it!

All I hear is the dumb logic that Holliday can't hit out of his Coors Field in Colorado.
Do the same persons ever consider the fact that if Fenway became his home ballpark, that he might hit well there also since it would now be his home rather than Coors Field?
savage, Holiday is hitting .305 on the road this year. The kid can hit anywhere!
I agree, but the morons still say that his lifetime average and stats are much better at Coors;if Manny does go, then Holliday would be a great replacement!
Holliday is a good player, but you have to be worried that his career numbers suggest a complete lack of power away from Coors. If he went to Boston, he'd be moving from a top 3 HR hitters park to a below average HR park. It's not just a home park effect, it's pretty clearly a Coors effect.

Well as a Sox diehard I sure as heck would take my chances on his connecting with the Green Monster on numerous occasions for plenty of doubles in addition to homeruns.
Actually I do give a fuck cause I am a Sox fan. Keep it on the ice with your shit sport you call hockey guy. No wonder there was a lockout. No one gives a fuck about hockey.
