  • Chado's CFL Picks for Week 5!!!

Broke out with a big bang last week as posted picks for week 4 in the CFL went 7-1!!!

Guys it is VERY important to play THE EXACT SAME LINES as I post. Most books allow you to buy hooks and full points should you need to and also I like to post well before the start of games so the lines can fluctuate significantly throughout the weekend. There was one game last week (WINNIPEG +9.5) that I won by the hook as their were plenty of 9.5's and even 10's out there when I posted last Thursday but by Friday night when the game was acrtually played the line had moved down to 9.0 and 8.5 so a few people had mentioned to me that they had pushed or even lost the wager while I had won and that is NOT what I like to hear. Please try and get on these lines as soon as possible and all at once should you choose to follow. Shop around and you will be able to get the exact same lines as I do especially if you play them the same day I do in which I post. Anwyay, hopefully I have found my stride here heading into week 5. Right now I have found one selection and am playing this to start:

    Friday:

Hamilton Tiger Cats +3.0 (-130) I bought the hook. Please get this line @ plus the FG while you can. RB Jesse Lumsden is back in the lineup this week for the Tabbies and the line may move as he did not play last week. There is no player in the CFL that has more of an impact to their respective team that Lumsden does to the Ti-Cats. I can see them winning this outright but the points help.

PS - Will post more plays in here later on tonight. There is one game Thursday night and its a tough one. Still looking into it a little harder....

AS ALWAYS, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

Alright I just finished capping the Thursday night game and in all honesty I would be shocked if the Bombers can possibly win their first game of the season with all the injuries they have it would be too much to overcome IMO. I have been tempted to take the Bombers plus the points at home all week but I just cannot as they are missing QB Kevin Glenn, WR Milt Stegall, LB Ike Charlton, OL Kyle Koch, and most importantly LB Barrin Simpson. Now that is too many voids to fill against one of the best teams in the league right now who are firing on all cylinders. Two teams heading in total opposite directions here.

                      Adding:

                      Calgary Stampeders +0.5 / B.C. Lions PK (-130) 7 PT TEASER

PS - Calgary game is Thursday night @ 8PM EST and BC game is Friday night after the Hamilton game and starts @ 10PM EST...

AS ALWAYS, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

mmm chado just to clarify its not that the Bombers are missing Glenn, they actually benched him due to his poor play so dinwiddie can't be a downgrade...

I do agree with your logic though,

                        GL this wknd

I am fully aware that he is a healthy scratch...the other players I mentioned are injured but nonetheless these are guys that are all "missing" or wont be playing tonight...BOL to you too!!!

I actually think Dinwiddie might boost this team as Glenn has looked terribly indecisive all year...then again their problems go much deeper than quarterback imo and they are in for a long year...

funny how often teams that lose the super bowl/grey cup have subpar seasons right after..

btw chad, you see that funnel cloud in mtl the last couple days? if it hits ground we have ourselves a tornado!

As much as last nights Calgary loss with 12 seconds left hurt I must say that was one of the most exciting CFL games of the entire season to watch. Great catches and great plays is what makes football in general an awesome sport and that game was full of it to say the least. Too bad the Stamps couldnt hold on defensively on that last drive for the win but Dinwiddie stole the show. Anyway no worries cant win em all and lets move onto tonight:

                              Already placed on Wednesday:

                              Hamilton Tiger Cats +3.0 (-130)

                              ADDING:

                              Hamilton Tiger Cats MONEYLINE (+110)

British Columbia Lions PK / Saskatchewan Rough Riders +2.0 (-130) 7 PT TEASER

                              THATS IT FOR THE WEEKEND...

AS ALWAYS GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND LETS NAIL THE TIGER CATS OUTRIGHT TONIGHT FOR A GUARANTEED SPLIT OF WEEK 5 PICKS!!!
