The maple bats have to go...Players like them because they swing a little quicker which resembles a metal bat. They explode in players hands and are nowhere near as solid as the ash bats. Every day jagged barrels go flying either into the stands or out into the infield which will eventually lead to something tragic happening. The toughest part with this situation is that the players love the bats so they will never agree with this movement but I think the maple will be gone soon enough.
        Great Day To Win

        MLB 2008 (19-23-1) +3.0 units

        NBA 08-09 (10-7) + 1.59 units

        GOY (4-1)

You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

They shatter more because the lengths are disproportionate to the weights. A 35 inch bat may only weigh 30 or 31 Oz., whereas oak or ash bats are closer to weight being 1 inch/1 oz ratio.

It may not last as long as you think guy. Just cause you weaklings in a Burger King sponsored league don't break them, it doesn't mean the real hitters don't. Talk to you later guy!
