Dont know the odds but these are 4 guys I would play:


Geoff Oglivey - World class player

Justin Rose - Finished 2 or 3 as an Amateur last time it was played at Royal Birkdale. He is ready to win now.

Henrik Stenson - Lot of firepower, hits it super long and talented

Robert Karlson - Same if not more firepower than Stenson.


No taking any of the chalk: Mickleson, Sergio, Els. Rose may be a little bit of a favorite though, not sure.

Tiger is the only chalk ever to take in my book!

I don't think Phil will play very well.Look and see what Jiminez odds are.Played well at the Masters and plays good in the wind and tough conditions.Stenson played well this past weekend in Scotland in preparation for the open so I think he will play well.

I like Rose but agree he will be under alot of pressure playing in his home country England. This course is too tight for Mickleson.
