  • These guys have 4 days off, I have a theory

Undocumented ( my least favorite kind of stat) memories are that of high-scoring games right before the All-Star break. Frank could probably prove or disprove this notion, but I am basing it solely upon my fading memory bank.

I am pretty sure that defenses take the night off in the last night before the NBA All-Star break, and again , undocumented, and I don't know how to equate that with any theories on the bases.

Scorched my man yesterday with 6-1 on posted plays, and numerous other unposted winners tailing the Old Kaptain, wheeling KC as the key bet in parlays with KC over( what a double miracle on a 2 out 2-run walk-off that was), Hou, LAA and Bos. Days like yesterday are the ones that you never forget, and ultimately why we do this every day.

That said , it would be foolish to expect the same results on this or any day, but one never knows until they try.

This has been a great week. which is normal for me in the week preceding the break ( and typical that I have to shut systems down for three days when all cylinders are firing).

    Enough rambling, today's selections:

Mil/Cin U8.5 -105 Going against the grain and all logic here

SD/Atl Under 7.5 -115 This has been gold all weekend, gonna hit it once again

Fla/LAD Over 8 -110 Track meet at Chavez Ravine, don't forget your spikes!

Bos -1.5 (E) Dice K v the Birds. Where do I sign up?

    CWS/Tex O10.5 Just because
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

More fuel on the Red Sox fire...Baltimore is 1-13 on Sundays.

            Meaningless trend? Maybe. Let's see

Late run by O's makes it a 3-2 day. Been a helluva week, too bad the break is coming now.
