Getting started early. Hope you didn't laugh off my winners yesterday. Let me point out that in an internet forum like this, I do not blame those that bash a pick like my Bears pick on Sunday, not that anybody did in here, which is what makes BettorsChat so great! There are guys that simply make picks to be contrarian, or to spark some controversy. That's why I gave some reasoning for my pick and those reasons were why I played it so big. The NFL, and sports wagering on the whole, is a funny business. Coaches are getting smarter (assistants, not head coaches). The players on bad teams have more pride than the old days. It makes it tough to say, "Wow, this team's gonna kill that team."
Anyway, now at CA$HCLUB INC we stand at Plus 4.83 Units YTD in NFL. Yesterday we picked up most of that, winning 5.70, going 4-1. Here we go with Week 6 NFL early wagers. As The Duke would say, I LOVE THESE GAMES!
Jax +3.5 (-115) -- 1X -- Quit laughing. This will be the most difficult bet to place this weekend. I know, because when I walk to the window I mutter to myself, "I cannot believe I'm taking fucking J-Ville with a rook against the fucking fish!" But here's why; Jack Del Rio and his "D" are on a mission to win games. They'll take away the receivers. Ricky will do enough to get the dolphins to 13, but the Jags can score more with those simple seam routes they run for Leftwich. He doesn't run, which I thought would be terrible. But these days QBs are asked to throw 12 yards straight seam routes high and smooth so their big targets can go get 'em. He can do that better than the fiddler. Jax 19-13.
SF +3.5 -- 1X -- This isn't rocket science. Seahawks are a good team, but they'll have trouble stopping a team commited to the run. Easy to take the points in a division matchup like this.
