  • GPa Friday MLB Fish Fry

After wild late antics in DC, perfect day becomes merely a pretty good one, going 4-2 on posted plays.

Won unposted play on Cubs today, so these night games are free-swinging house money plays:

SD/Atl Under 7 -120 .....SD is 8-1 to the under in L9, and Reyes tends to be involved in disproportionate # of under games. Again, like Dc/Snakes matchup last night, a total of 7 can be reached fairly easily, even with a 2-0 lead in the 9th, but fear not the low total.

Fla/LAD over 8.5 -115 .... This is based solely on Fish tendency to play Overs on the road (6-2 on this road trip so far), and in spite of the Dodgers' inability to score or play Over games. Downside is HP ump Emmels 6-13 O/U record.

CWS/Tex Over 11 -125... Lots of vig, but these two explosive offenses and Texas' horrific, and spent, bullpen, make this worth the gamble. Mendoza's 2.68 WHIP means plenty of traffic, and the hot steamy Texas night should have the ball spraying everywhere. Four straight OVERS for Mendoza, and 5-2-1 OVER run for Floyd. I see 15 or more plating tonight.

Phi ML -147 ..........Phils 13-5 in games started by Kendrick , (But only 4-4 at home?),7-2 L9 Hendrick starts, 20-12 v LH starters, Snakes are 1-4 in Davis' road starts, and only 13-25 v teams over .500

GL ev1, may my mini-roll never end, or better yet, become a major roll!

Does anybody know which direction the Ballpark @ Arlington faces? The wind is blowing from the South at 18 MPH with gusts up to 25 MPH>

Another factoid regarding Texas starter Mendoza. Here are the final scores of his L4 starts ( all losses):
    6-9
    7-18
    6-19
    3-11.

I am licking my chops, though probably not as much as the Pale Hose hitters.

I have the wind coming in from Left Field at 19 mph. Who knows how much of that wind comes into play though since the design of the stadium protects much of the wind affecting the flight of the ball. Thats what makes Wrigley unique is the design of the stadium lets wind affect the ball flight greatly.

To play Devil's Advocate against myself, the CWS/Tex series has played Under 6 of L7 in Arlington. And 11 is a big number ( it has since moved to 11.5), but.....................................

I am not concerned. Josh Hamilton is good for 3 or 4 runs by himself, and Southsiders will put runs on the board v Mendoza and the pen.

                          Just added:

                          Hou/Was Under 8 -130

Hate the juice here, but it only counts if you lose it.
