did you really believe he was retired in the first place ? if packers finished 8-8 last year maybe that would be it for him. he's not done playing football he's just done doing mini camp and training camp.....as for the media, the media is basically espn and of course this is all their going to talk about, what else is there TO talk about. people want football 1st baseball highlights 2nd

Supposedly Favre has asked for his release from the Packers today. This would allow him to play with any team he chooses. If he is going to play somewhere, wouldn't you think the Packers would want to keep him?
