Why Cant We Just Vote On The Teams I Provided

If Its Not On The List Of 5 I put in the poll just Post Who U Think It Is - simple

Why All The Crying Because Boston Was Left Off ?

This poll wasnt "does Boston have one of the top 5 rotations in the leauge ?" It was who has the best rotation in baseball

Was it so hard to not vote and post:

None of the above -- I believe its boston

    AND

Why does every thread have to be turned into a debate about Boston teams ?

You said it yourself. Because i'm a Boston Homer/Apologist.

6 Titles in 6 years has put them on the front page alot and i like talking about them. Hell, i bet you have started more threads about Boston teams than i have in the last year!

On a side not what are you going to do in that fantasy league BC3 when you run out of moves? I want to add players like you but I am afraid of running out of moves so I try my best top avoid adds.....is there any way we can make more moves once we get over 50 or are we locked out?

        PEACE
Honestly, I just go through my 4 teams every day and add pitchers that I think can get a win. We're locked out at 50, so I'll probably shut it down in that league for a while.

Without wedging myself into the argument, I'd say that Boston is probably top 5 so far, but it's a close call. The Red Sox win out because they've been better so far this year and it's tough to argue a top 5 with ERAs below 4, especially with guys like Blanton putting up 120 innings of 5 ERA ball.

Beckett is a top 5 pitcher who's been a little unlucky this year. He's pitching almost the same as last year, except for the HRs. Dice-K's problem is obviously the walks, he's been incredibly lucky so far. Lester has been a little lucky, but he also gets alot of groundballs and keeps the HRs down. Wakefield is what he's been for the past 5 years. Masterson has been incredible so far this year, but the HRs and the walks worry me, especially in his last 2 starts. That said, Red Sox rookies seem to improve with on-the-job training every year and the kid has been given a chance to learn how to pitch without the pressure that Hughes and Kennedy dealt with.

This is a good discussion. I hope more people continue to throw in their opinion.

Do you really believe that 12 people picked other ?

I logged in and there were votes spread out over the other teams

10 minutes after the other option was entered there were 12 votes

are u gonna tell me people dont thing that at least the A's , Angels, Tampa or Toronto dont have the best staff ?

                          common ..gimmie a break

Wayne himself picked Tampa later in the thread after his initial first reply he posted " F - none of the above"
Okay well I didn't realize you we're leaving them off the poll not to be fucked with?? I just figured that if someone was going to create a "Who has the best rotation in the AL poll" they would include the Boston Redsox. Honestly how can you not include the sox ? they won the world series last year, they have Josh Beckett, I guess you can call him the AL's best pitcher now that CC is in Milwaukee, and he was the most deserved of the CY young last year.

                          1- Beckett 8-5 3.70 era 1.11 whip 105 k's only 22 walks in 107 innings and a 2.38 batting average against, great numbers.
                          2 -Daisuke Matsuzaka 9-1 3.12 era 1.39 whip 65 k's 75 innings and a .201 baa.
                          3- Jon Lester 7-3 3.21 era 1.31 whip
4- Wakefield 5-6 3.68 era 1.22 whip .222 baa wakefield is a great #4 he eats up a ton of innings, has a ton of quality starts
                          5- Masterson 4-3 3.67 era 1.23 whip .206 baa

if that's not the BEST ROTATION in the AL 1-5 please tell me who has the best

                              I was expecting worse!

Big Game Ollie (has replaced Pettitte as the NY picture that shoul dhave that nickname) was huge today! He'll get shelled when he faces the Nats, but put himin the big spot and the guy produces!

Someone will give him $8 million a year next year.....
