I need a Mets win tonight!!!

What happened to the days of ESPN showing games at 1, 4, 7 and 10 pm on the 4th? They used to do it???

Thank God for MLB Extra Innings. I love that!

That was the best. And it wasn't even that long ago! I'm getting to the point where I may get the MLB Extra Innings. Basic cable carries nothing. Here in DC, its usually just the O's, and Nats maybe once/twice a week (mercifully) but there's no other TBS/WGN or even NY station like there was years ago showing the Mets games. Obviously there's the ESPN games but there seemed to be so much more in the past. I feel like this is Bud Selig's fault somehow....

MLB Extra innings is sooooo worth it. You get 10-12 games every day except Saturday's when they only offer all the night games. It costs about 1/2 of what the NFL Ticket costs and that is for about 17 days of action per year. This package gives you about 180 days of non stop baseball. Well worth the $149

This is probably a dumb question, but is it only for Dish? I see the MLB individual games on the on demand menu but I don't know if that's part of Extra Innings...

BTW, game is far from over in Chicago but the A's are looking really solid again. Amazing job Billy Beane does year in year out there. Moneyball is a great book.

Look at the schedule for just todays games and remember, they have this many games every day.

Thanks Wayne. Going to look into it tomorrow. You know to throw into the whole nostalgia thing, when I was in junior high/high school I remember falling asleep watching the west coast game on ESPN. Those games even seem to be rare these days. Seems strange we don't get more games in this day and age even without the Extra Innings package.

Big Z looking pretty good early off the DL. Love that guy. He's insane.

Anyone have the over in the Fish/Rocks game? You'd likely have an early winner there...

Alright I'm sure we could throw many others into this category but for shits and giggles, most overpaid based on production? Santana/Beltran/ARod and I'm going to throw Torii Hunter in here. We could probably throw guys like Pedro in here but thats just piling on the Mets. It's kind of early on Santana but when you factor salary plus Carlos Gomez playing really well for the Twins it looks really bad for the Mets. On that note, it makes the Twins look really good...
