There was no Big Papi to pitch to this series also, and if Varitek can finally bust out of this funk the Sox will start putting up the runs they need to get some wins because the bullpen sure's not shuting anyone down. Dice K must get his shit together SOON!

That was one helluva catch by Upton though basically saved that game.....I was watching on NESN though so I didnt here the homerism but thats their job is to go nuts for the home team...try listening to Lewin broadcast Rangers game....you would think they havent lost a game all season.

This Tampa team is great and remind alot of the 06 Tiger team that came out of nowhere sorta.....people who follow baseball closely all knew Tampa had the talent and it was just a matter of time before they put it together.

As far as them being 5 up near the All Star break I dont think anyone wouldve thought but I expected them to be around 500 this year....they have the bats, pen and rotation so I dont think they are going anywhere.
