I went 2-0 Wednesday, both with dogs, as the unbeatable Twins and Royals somehow managed to be underdogs. Neither has lost since, either. Two more inexplicable dogs to take advantage of today.
1* Twins -103
Minnesota has won ten in a row and is scoring runs in bushels, yet they are still being weirdly underbet. The pitching matchup here is even as Milwaukee's Parra is decent and Livan Hernandez is coming off two good outings. But Minnesota is 12-5 in Hernandez' starts, they're 26-16 at their stupid dome and the AL is now 137-88 in interleague. Despite all this, Minny is a tiny underdog w/small juice.
1* Rangers +119
This line is even better. We have an underdog AL team at home in an even pitching matchup. Run to the windows! The Phillies, like most NL teams right now, are very cold having lost eight of nine and ten of the last eleven. Texas is a remarkable 13-3 in Padilla starts for a +1280 ROI (best of any starter in baseball this year). That's because the way Texas scores, any decent pitcher will get a lot of wins. The AL is destroying the NL in interleague, home teams are destroying visitors and Philadelphia can't win right now. And they're favored????????
