    Saturday's Six-Pack:

-- American League is just crushing the NL, 135-88, with two days left in interleague play this season. Shouldn't winner of the AL get home field in the World Series? But no.......

--......because TV runs everything, the All-Star Game decides who gets home field for the World Series. What a country.

-- Mets wore their blue hats on road for first time in 11 years.

-- Home team is now 15-2 in Ryan Dempster's last 17 starts.

-- Minnesota Twins have won ten games in row. Very good.

-- Arizona is 40-40 and still in first place. Not good.

Saturday's List of 13: Nobody asked me, but.........

      13) How in the name of Bowie Kuhn does Coco Crisp get a pair of games knocked off his suspension, while Akinori Iwamura's suspension stays at three games? How is this fair?

      12) Crisp went out of his way to incite trouble not once, but on two different occasions, June 4 and 5. Yet the Rays had pair of starting pitchers suspended, lost Carl Crawford for four games, while Crisp, the blatant instigator, gets five. Iwamura will miss the first game of the Boston series Monday.

      11) Carlos Delgado has been getting ripped all week in papers in New York City, with writers demanding the Mets get rid of him, so of course, he knocks in nine runs in the first game of a day/night doubleheader in the Bronx Friday afternoon.

      10) I wonder what its like to have your picture on front page of the paper, with people demanding you be fired, then two days later having one of the greatest games in baseball history?

      9) Of course, after scoring 15 runs in the opener, Mets then got shut out by Sidney freakin' Ponson in the nightcap. Go figure.

      8) Chan Ho Park tossed six shutout innings for the Dodgers in 6-0 win over Angels. He's apparently found fountain of youth.

      7) Looks like Arizona might have been better off keeping their six prospects and not acquiring Dan Haren. Where would the A's be without Greg Smith and Dana Eveland? Diamondbacks are really struggling, but are still in first place.

      6) Detroit is just one game under .500, as Jim Leyland has them on a roll, after 10 weeks of struggling. Bonine and Galarraga are the young starting pitchers who've helped during this streak.

      5) Padres wore their awesome throwback uniforms Friday, the brown/gold ones worn during the Winfield/Randy Jones era in the 70's. They played lousy in 5-2 loss, but they looked great.

      4) Phillies are also stumbling badly, blowing 5-1 lead in an 8-7 loss in Arlington. Phils are only team in major leagues who've only used five starting pitchers this season, yet their pitching is still dependent on 45-year old Jamie Moyer. Uh-oh.

      3) Over 111,000 fans saw the two games in New York Friday.

      2) Don't look now, but the Royals are hotter than hell, too, as rookie manager Hillman is doing really good job with them.

      1) At what point do the Twins bring up Francisco Liriano? It seems ridiculous that hes still in the minor leagues.
