Hmm, when you're struggling offensively as bad as the Phillies are 1) you probably don't want to start a series against a team with the best ERA in the majors and 2) in a park that is made for pitchers. Furthermore, although Joe Blanton is struggling in his last 4 starts and this season for that matter, Blanton, is 5-1 with a 2.11 ERA in six career interleague starts at home. On the other hand, Moyer is 2-3 with a 7.01 ERA in his last five interleague starts.

I don't understand why (ONCE AGAIN) this Phillies team is favored.

im on the phillies BIG this was my favorite play of the day actually but GL anyway . IMO moyer is the slump buster today against the A's worst starter + the phillies hit righties and A's have a tougher time against lefties
