How do you give up a GS to a A.L. Pitcher??

1st A.L. Pitcher since '71 to hit one. Did David Wright pitch that gopher ball? lol

bingo, thats my point, they say he should have been out of the inning, ok, fine, dont serve up BP to a pitcher in the AL

Exactly. Shake off the error and get the fucken pitcher out. If he was still in the A.L. he wouldn't have that nice option of the pitcher coming up and he still blew it by tossing a duck over home plate!

I'm sorry, i meant to say 1ST A.L. Pitcher since '71 to hit a GS, not 2nd. Errors happen but if you are Johan Santana, you CANNOT allow that!

This is one of the most ignorant comment I've ever heard.

Lot's of things in sports happen that aren't SUPPOSED to happen.

Not to mention. The pitch was up and out of the strike zone on the first pitch in the count.

If Wright makes the play then the pitcher hits the homer leading off the next inning we're not even having this conversation.

Great pitchers take David Wright off the hook there frank ... ESPECIALLY against an opposing pitcher at bat. Errors happen all the time. That ball served up by Santana hasn't happened in almost 40 years!

I grew up a Mets fan but I haven't watched a single game and for the most part could care less about them. I can probably count on a single hand how many of their games I've watched in the last 5+ years.

I guess it's the same as saying THE PATS CAN'T ALLOW THE GIANTS TO BEAT THEM. But guess what? They did. To suggest any human can't allow anything against another human is ignorant.
