Solid numbers heading into his best month historically. Santana frustrated us Twins fans for years with his repeated slow starts. But he picks it up and is almost unbeatable in June and Aug. The rest of the league's starters weaken and Santana gets stronger. He'll come around and be in top Cy Young form come the important months of the regular season.

Pitchers can not control records......if they could Matt Cain would contend for the Cy Young every year.....I feel your pain though because the hype surrounding Johan people thought he would win 25 games which did not make sense because you need lots of breaks to win tons of games.
