I hate the DH. I wish there was no such rule. Baseball was intended for pitchers to bat and they should. The only good thing about the DH is extending players career.

Unfortunatly, all professional baseball in the world is played with the DH with the exception on NL majors.

what cracks me up is that there is only a handful that can hit worth a shit... they have 3- 4 days rest between starts to practice hitting...most of these pitchers were studs at one time and were good hitters through high school and college...

I don't like the DH rule, it creates an imbalance in interleague play and the world series. I'm not even saying it favors one league more than the other I just think if they have it in the AL they should have it in the NL....Last time I checked Quarterbacks don't play defense so why should a pitcher have to hit and run ?

These pitchers keep getting injured you will see it in both leagues very soon ... especially with the pansy of a Commissioner in MLB ... if the owners want it in the NL he will push it right through

That would suck. Pitchers should have to bat. They only play once every 4-5 days. Every other position has to bat.

Stradegy is different with the pitchers batting and makes the manager actually have to do his job better and manage.
