I finally told the dude I don't need his dumb picks. So he keeps calling and leaving shitty voice messages on my cell phone. Telling me I have no balls! Telling me I'm a looooooser because I call Free Pick phones (whenever that was) because I cannot win big money.

The owner's name (according to the fuckhead that got on the phone when I called back) is Dave. He and Joe are the pussies I keep fucking with. They keep screaming and whistling into the phone everytime the operator gives them my call.

if anyone else calls their 800 number they will have your phone number also, so don't bother.

if you want to get back at them, call that number 100's of times from a pay phone, they not only have to pay for the call but also the pay phone surcharge.

Not me, I just hit *67 before dialing the number. Having a private number is not enough but if you block it manually they can't get it. Anyway don't bother it's just fun fucking with 'em. I'm gonna call 'em all week until they change the number.

You know what I did once:
I called one of these guys allegedly for a free big game.
Well, as expected, an operator said someone would call me back and asked for my number(what else is new)?
I gave them a number all right but it was the number of the local police;its too bad I never found out what happened;there must have been one surprised dude when the guy called back and the person answering the phone said "police."

He still has your number.

I believe the rational for 800 numbers is - since they are paying for the call, they have the right to know whom they paid for.

there is even a code that tells them what type of phone you are calling from, cell, land, pay, etc.

Just for the record...

*67 does indeed work. I know because I work in a radio station that uses one (800 #). What it doesn't do is block the number from showing at the end of the month on the company bill. That's why I kept calling them and all they could do was call my cell back which I turned off. That always gets them.
