He was but it was funny. The guy hit under .200 for a long time and people rarely said a bad thing and still just loved the guy.

He's also helped them win 2 WS and probably has been the best clutch hitter for them EVER so I don't really think it's a fair comparison.

Maybe so but i find it funny that the people i always see complaining about Howard are Philly fans (Not all, just some) and everyone else seems to love the kid!

Cuz most people just see the HR and RBI #s...again, to the casual fan, that's all that is important

You must want 5 runs per game each and every night, no more no less?

I guess i would much rather be a "Homer" than a "Fan" who constantly complains about a team with the 5th best record in baseball.

Their stats are slightly skewed cuz they scored 20 runs in 2 games...my pt is this, they score 20, then 2, 8 then 0...I'd just like more consistency

Skewed nothing, they scored the runs and that is all that matters. Is their record skewed somehow too? They are ranked #2 in all of MLB in runs scored. If you eliminate that 20 run game they are still Ranked 4th in all of baseball. C'mon Jimmy, GEEZ .......
