The -150+ line on Saturday was even more absurd with the shitty last place Reds favored over the Red Sox with a good but unproven rookie pitcher against one of the elite teams in the baseball just because they(the Sox) were missing some players from the lineup.
The line tonight makes more sense as Phillies are infinitely better than the Reds, Sox don't have Ortiz or Youk, and Hamels has been quite impressive.

Ok guys, I have to ask cuz it's getting annoying...I post on the Phillies and Mets board and look at some other ones from time to time...just checked out the RS board and expecting to find what I was looking for, it didn't take long. Mets fans have become the worst as most now claim the Phils hitters aren't that good because their stats are inflated due to hitting at CBP.

What do you guys think?

Look at the team stats and it says it all. They have a potent lineup. What i find funny though is you ripping on their offense just like those met fans!

I rip on them cuz they seem to be feat or famine...I would rather have consistency than games where they score 20...that was my pt.

Consistent or not, it's bases and EVERY team goes through high's and low's. The facts are that they are near the top in most team offensive stats.
