Of course there has been a lot of Laker action and lots of LOSER Handicappers who have been chasing them game after game like Stu Fe ner and having their heads and those of their clients handed to them.

I agree with this pick 100% and I honestly think the Lakers will win this series....probably stupid of me to say that after what we have seen so far but I am liking the chances of a game 7 and we know all bets are off then.

my handicapping of pro basketball is probably a mixture of stu feiner, jack price and johnny demarco on their worst days, but i like the lakers +4 here too............i havent bet a game in this series because i thought the lakers should have been 1/4 to win the series and -190 made no sense and i have been scared .....

i thought the lakers were going to win in 4 , maybe 5........of course, i am an idiot when it comes to capping the nba so fading would probably be the best way to go!!

In view of their regular season record, and fact that Celts had home court advantage, the -190 line for Lakers made no sense to me either but for a different reason; I thought Celts deserved to be a minus-130 favorite if not -140, and there was no reason for Lakers to be favored at all let alone -190.

I agree and at the very least would break up the bet between taking the points and the moneyline.
Personally I see Celtics winning by 10 or more OR losing outright and forcing game 7;only Scamdimissioner David Stern knows for sure what will happen in this game.

GG - I been on the lakers all series, I am growing more and more annoyed with Kobe and Phil. Kobe constantly giving up the ball in crunch time last night, since when?

Marc Jackson mentioned it last night and said Jordan would never rely on Pau Gasol in a situation down the stretch and I just don't feel like Kobe is asserting himself nearly enough.

Again I don't wanna be one of those guys that doesn't give the celts credit. They have the best team defense we have seen in a long time and they are playing a defense we used to call "pack" when I played and typically it calls for every defender to have one foot in or just outside the paint. They are obviously just daring the lakers role players to beat them.

However, I think there is an easy solution, in the 4th quarter last night almost every possesion down the floor KG set a HARD screen on Kobe and rolled thus eliminating kobe from the play and making it so easy for Pierce. Are Pau/Lamar too weak to do this on the other end? This will at least free up Kobe a little bet and take two defenders away from the paint, the trap of the pick and roll shouldn't work either if Kobe aggresively turns and TRIES to go to the basket instead of pulling up from 18 with a defender in his face.

Sorry, just growing annoyed with this series. I'm actually a diehard bulls fan and have been forever and am sick of the comparisons with MJ which I'm sure have ended with Kobe's performance these finals.

However, I would still love to witness greatness again and watch Kobe make it 1-29 of teams coming back from 3-1.

With all that blabbering, I am picking the lakers as well, ONLY because I am just thinking that the best PLAYER and the best COACH in this series will take over at some point.
