By the time they played the Pistons, everyone knew there bench was good. You don't win 66 regular season games with the Big three not playing huge minutes with a shit bench.Originally posted by NEJAKE
I really do think the first two rounds were tough for them partly because Doc changed his rotations. The two areas I completely misread this Celtics team was Rondo and the bench. At the beginning of the season, I thought the bench was awful...WRONG! And I thought Rondo would be good but would struggle in the ;playoffs. He hasn't been great game-in, game-out...but he has been much better than I thought he would be. I have to admit, I had my doubts about Doc. But as this series unfolds with the Lakers, I must say that Doc has a great understanding of his team and how to manage his talent on the bench.
