I have never been a huge Wood fan Chad ... too many injuries and I feel he does not have the mind-set for pitching ... BUT!!! I am starting to really like him in this role ... my gosh, why not??? he is getting the job done and he is looking better and better doing it... also, it says a lot about him for willingly taking that role as a player ... I truly like seeing him coming in from the pen in the 9th inning ... it also means the Cubbies are leading ... hahahaha
Also its awesome to see some of the baseball games you select play out. For example, that Texas pick last night I researched it on my own just to see what you may have seen and that Garza dude for the Rays was like lights out vs the Rangers in his career and with how high that Mathis ERA has been this season it would seem like Tampa was definetely the play. Of course I dont ever doubt your bases picks and went with the Rangers and sure enough they got the job easily.
Chad, you can disagree with my picks anytime ... I swear, it does not bother me one iota if you say in my thread that you like the other side ...
Anyway, I have noticed on numerous ocassions this year and previous seasons that sometimes you seem to go against the grain as far as "on naked paper" is concerned with your picks it usually ends up winning and its very impressive to say the least. Or maybe its just fading what I think on the diamond...hahaha...
I am just glad that most of the decisions this year have been correct one's ... no, I do not fade in baseball ... all picks are mine and they are wagered on .. amounts may change but all plays are wagered evenly ... I do not have star ratings .. If I like a play I play it ... I do have a system that I use ... a point system ... so many points for certain categories ... mostly starting pictures and bullpens ...
Anyway, thanks for the Cubs winner last night Joe...you are the man!!!
