Arizona game. Manager should be fired

Arizona is down 5-3 in the 8th inning. They have the bases loaded with 2 outs. The backup catcher is playing and already struck out 3 times today. Its his bat and the manager lets him hit instead of pinch hitting. The backup catcher strikes out for a 4th time today leaving the bases loaded.

FIRE THAT MANAGER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That manager happens to have a team of youngsters in 1st place, a lousy division but 1st is 1st....they will hit another hot streak soon enough and their lead will grow..

that doesnt explain why you let a strike out king continue to hack away at the ball when he sucks

That has nothing to do with the idiotic decision he made not to use a pinch hitter for a backup catcher that already had 3 Ks today.

Managers make bad decisions every day but it doesn't mean they should be fired....

WHAT if he happened to get a hit, then you call him a genius? Being a coach is a funny thing because a flip of the coin decision can make you a genius or a moron..

i know it SUCKS to be on the losing end of something like that but managers (in baseball especially) go with their instincts sometimes and this time is most def. did not pay off

It's called an off day for a reason. I wouldn't make the starter who I gave the day off suit up to catch for one inning either.

That backup cather also has a higher batting avg than anyone that was on the bench...i don't know about iwth RISP but he hasn't had the oppotunities

I would have had him rehired tonight because that call helped my under 8.5.

Arizona Manager was thrown out in the 2nd inning when the umps changed a home run into a double.
