maybe the world has caught up because their players love playing and representing their country, or maybe it is because half the players in the U.S really don't care about representing their country.

International players would rather play and win for the country and get paid nothing rather than get paid to play in a pro league. That is their words not mine, they say it all the time.

Basketball is the most chemistry-related of all of the team sports, probably because the team size is the smallest, but nonetheless the one sport where the sum may be greater than the parts.

The Int'l competitions feature teams with much more time together to prepare, whereas the US teams only have a few weeks to mesh and play a different system. That is why the world has caught up, IMO.

Not to mention we had a horrible selection of guys going for a couple years...They have the right mix now. I like the way Euroballers play, but this USA team assembled now KILLS the team that came soft with George Karls lame ass, along with any other squad in the WORLD.

I'll give anybody 2 to 1 that USA BASKETBALL WONT LOSE 1 GAME BETWEEN NOW AND THEIR NEXT GOLD MEDAL...
