I ground out a small profit yesterday as I won with the +125 Angels and lost a total when Texas finally went under.
I feel like the Kaptain and could play the whole board today but I'll go only with my two strongest and will list the others as opinions.
1* Red Sox -139
I never EVER play faves over -140 and this one barely makes the cut so you can see how much I like it. Seattle, for some reason, gets overvalued every time Bedard pitches. He's having only a so-so year. The Red Sox are now 25-6 at home and the Mariners are 8-21 on the road. And, if anyone has forgotten, Seattle has the worst record in baseball.
1* Angels +134
I'm going to keep going to this well! I'm just amazed the best team in the AL keeps getting underdog numbers. LAA has now won seven in a row and goes with Ervin Santana who is having an excellent year. Harden and Oakland are fine but nobody should be a big fave against the Angels who have just tied the Cubs for the best record in the major leagues.
Opinions only:
Padres (the axe is so close to Willie's head he can hear the blade)
Cubs (a dog with their record?)
Yankees OVER (Greinke's bad; will Joba last 4 innings this time?)
Orioles (+200 is always nice)
Rangers/D-Rays OVER (Texas is an OVER machine)
