Yes. I don't think they come close to making the playoffs this year. Guessing the Redsox have 9 to 15 game lead over the yanks once the season is over. Team is aging badly.

What Georgie and his obviously dumb son have never understood that just because they decide to meet a player or his agent's demands, it doesn't mean that he is worth what they pay him;nor does it mean that a conglomeration of these "fat cats" will have the motivation and/or ability to perform up to the championship form which is expected of them.
What was admirable about the Yankee teams of the 90's was that they each knew their role and the team chemistry was fantastic;the present team strikes me as a team where the sum is LESS than the parts.
When you couple that with a relative novice at the helm in Girardi, you have the makings of mediocrity.
