All the (espn) experts have picked the Lakers in 5,6 and one in 7 games. Boston will be pumped up to make a statement in game 1 in the Fleet center.

      Take Boston -3!

IMO, the winner of this one takes it all in 7.....I see home court as the difference here.....First one to break that will win IMO......

I know this is the matchup David Stern wanted and it sure makes me wonder why this referee who is being charged with game fixing says more referees were involved in game fixing after seeing the end of the San Antonio game 4 .Think about it how would you like to go against David Stern. He gets all the press and all the media are going to kiss his ass. I know the NBA is trying to make this guy look like a crook but if this happens all the time they have the money to cover it up. They wanted Kobe in here and they have him enough said.

I will not be surprised to see this go home advantage at least until game 6. I think betting against a home team here makes zero sense particularly with such a small point spread and the home team bias displayed these playoffs. I dont think the books will get too high on points since betting will stay reasonable towards both teams due to the large fan bases. Go Celtics (though I would probably not bet them for series even at +160).

Game 1...Boston -2.5 (at bodog and BetJam at time of post). Ray Allen has got his shot back at home and the Celtics are hard to beat there. I expect Celtics to shoot freethrows well enough to cover the spread over the one-man Laker show.
