I went 2-0 Yesterday, both on dogs, as the Nationals and White Sox both came through in the ninth inning.
1* Braves +120
Arizona is favored because of Webb and that creates line value. The Braves are an amazing 21-7 at home! Even with yesterday's loss, the Braves have won six of their last eight and the D-backs have lost five of their last eight. To make this play even more enticing, Jurrjens is pitching very well (2.12 ERA his last three starts) and the Braves are 5-0 at home when he starts.
1* Red Sox -106
Yeah, I know Boston is terrible on the road and they were just swept in Oakland. But this isn't Oakland, it's Seattle---the worst team in the American League. The Mariners have lost six in a row and are reeling after getting pummeled all weekend by the Yankees. Colon pitched pretty well in his first start of the season and while Hernandez is Seattle's only decent pitcher, they are only 4-6 in his starts. Take a very low price against a rotten team.
Opinions only:
Nationals (tick...tick...tick til Yost firing)
Cubs (19-8 at home)
Marlins (tick...tick...tick til Willie firing)
