Naders are about 30-40 miles north of okc area. SW of tulsa. 4th one just touched down. All been in real rural areas. A pig farm was hit earlier. Don't think it will be the last of the day. Weather is perfect for severe weather today.

Yes. These aren't immediately SW of Tulsa, I should have specified. These are pretty far from Tulsa actually. 80 miles or so I think.

KB, Garth, JCheckers are all closer than me......I do live SE of Tulsa.....They are moving this way, but a long ways to go.....I think Hennessey is about 65-70 miles N 0f OK City......

Take care guys......hope it breaks up.....Funnels (tornadoes touching down---5 I know of) from this wicked ass/massive cloud movement......It's not through....

Last week a pretty good one hit about 5 miles due North of me, and about 1 1/2 miles from one Son, and 4 miles from another.....

Thanks for asking SandMan.....Oklahoma has about 350-400 Tornadoes each year.....some pretty severe.....Worlds strongest hit SAtroud OK, a few years back...

              Thry are ugly and scary....

              Once again---thanks for the concern.....

CORRECTION----6 have spawned from this massive ass cloud movement.....

Glad all is OK with you. All I remembered is that you were somewhere near Tulsa. The TV coverage today was amazing. Fox News spent at least an hour non stop showing feeds from the air from Oaklahoma stations. They did say Oak. has the most tornadoes of any state. What's the closest one has ever come near you.

They look scary but at least you know when they are coming. Our earthquakes are without warning.

Years ago I lived in Chickasha, and worked in Anadarko Ok....we were builing a 3 phase power plant, and one evening, all the Craft were hollering to get to the storm shelter....One of the Welding foremans, came into my office, and said to follow him....

He stated a Tornado (massive one) had touched down, and we could see it a few miles away, and it was heading in our direction....

We hurrried to the underground storm shelter, built by the Iron Workers, and Welders, Pre construction start, and we all, about 170 if us, huddled up in the shelter...

I told the Foreman, Genn Bess, I had never seen a tornado before....He wallked me to the Steel dors, that were locked down, and opened one side, much to the chagrin of others, so I could see.....

I stuck my head out, and saw the tornado, about 1/2 mile (or closer) away from us, and could not believe the activity I saw....He then immediately closed the shelter door, and within 30-60 seconds, the Loudest Roar I ever heard (from the wind), ocurred....

Lasted about 15-20 minutes, then when we came out, it was total destruction to all our previous work on the new Power Plant....

Steel all over, cars overturned, including my Co, Truck, and sheer havoc with the offices we had just built....

I have never seen anything like it even up till today....I was scared shitless....It put us about 3 months behind schedule, and generated a high cost over run....

Needless to say, the closest I have ever been to one, is indeed, "right in the middle of one"...

Haven't been closer than 2-4 miles from one since, but I get the shudders, when I see em, live or on TV, and can hear the Roar in my mind...

My big concern today, is where my sons, grandkids, and I are scattered about in Ok, Tulsa Area, is how are they doing....You don't dare attempt to drive to em, worse place to be (in a car)...

We are constantly alerting each other to the whereabouts of the bad boys....

PS---I've been directly in the middle of Hurricanes, Audrey, Camile, Batsy, and Andrew, while in Louisiana......

                  Thanks for asking....

Like my boy LSU Jimmy would ask....."Did you Shat yourself"....

                  answer is.........."Hell yeh"....know what I mean Verne....thanks for inquiring...
