    MLB series bet -NYY v Balt, tues THRU thurs, 5/20-22

    I am going to take a flyer on the O's v the Yanks, history and bloodlines be damned.

    Tues Cabrera v Mussina
    Wed Olson(L) v Rasner
    Thurs Burres(L) v Kennedy

    Balt +160 ( to win at least 2 of 3 in series)

    Bronx hitting .212 for the season v LHP at home (.211 overall)
    O's 9-13 on road
    NYY 9-11 at home
    NYY 2-10 L12 as a fave
    O's have gone 2-1 v NYY so far this year.
    Last year, O's respectable 8-9 v NYY, and went 3-2-1 in the six series in '07. The 3 series played in Bronx went 1-1-1

    The Yanks are favored on reputation alone. These two teams are headed in opposite directions. The wrong team is favored here. If they split the first two games, there is no way NYY will favored 160 or higher with Kennedy on Thursday, so a hedge bet guarantees small profit. So IMO, the value here is much too good to pass on.

        Off to a pretty good start.

        7 unearned in the first , and still batting!

        Also played Balt +145 for this game, but the series play is the big one.

            O's thump Bronx, 12-2, with 8 unearned runs paving the way. Nice to get out to 7 run lead before other team bats.

                Early line has NYY -155 for G3. Not much of a hedge op there.

                HP ump Chris Guccione is 5-0 for Yanks in last 5 Yanks games. Wonder if he has a stash of Penthouse mags in his mattress?

                  All the ump stats point to Yanks, but the pitching matchup is a decided edge for the visitors, and unless Kennedy fianlly delivers on his promise, I think I am in good shape here.

                  Lettin it ride, since Balt +147 is about as good as I have found. Already have large play at +160 for series, so I am a huge Orioles fan today

                            Lets get it! I feel good about it GPa. Dont know if your watching but Yanks just had a mild 2 out threat with Jeter up and he popped weakly to right. Good outcome!

                              I'm having to monitor on MLB gamecenter. Probably for the best!
