Tonight's game

Just a quick question, The last 3 football season's I've been pretty successful just taking the top 10 or 15 leaders at Bigguy.com I add all the units per team together and play them.

If one guy picks a team for 3 units and another guy picks opposite for 2 units that I only bet 1 unit. That's my system in a simplified nutshell. My question is around buying 1/2 points. I've pushed on several bets over the last few seasons, and it's frustrating, many times it's because the line moved before I could get the same line the capper used. Is it worth buying that 1/2 point?

A good example would be tonights game. Seems like it could be a close game a field goal could decide it.

Just wondering what your thoughts are. Nice forum y'all got here, wish I'd found it sooner.

1MG Hawk, YES i would buy the 1/2 if your line was 3.5 for sure. You never know and if it is a number like 3.5 or 7.5 or even 4.5 i ALWAYS buy the 1/2. It has saved me SEVERAL times.

i think the rule is you buy the half if the spread sits on/or gets you to the magic numbers 3, 7 or 10.
