royals winning again against detroit. i'm a big detroit fan. even though i live in vegas, i was born and raised in detroit. i left in 1980 just before my 28th b-day. i hate too say this though, but i'm giving up on my tigers this year. i know it's only may, but this team is in trouble. dombrowski has destroyed the minor league system. we had some great arms on the farm, but traded away miller, jurrjens, sanchez and others, and what did we get. renteria 260 ba, cabrera 266 ba, sheffield 210 ba. willis cant throw a strike and is on the dl. chuck hernandez the pitching coach needs to be fired. this team had the best era in 2006 in the al, 9th last year, and last this year. why is that? kenny rogers should retire after this year. robertson, willis and even bonderman should be used as trade bait. carlos gullen can be traded, he can't field and hasn't had a hit with runners in scoring position in over a month. maybe dombrowski should look back at the "68" and "84" teams with mostly home grown players. 1968 lolich, sparma, mcclain, hiller, lasher, patterson, northrup, stanley, horton, kaline, mccauliffe, oyler, wert, freehan, brown. 1984 morris, petry, trammell, whitaker, brookens, parrish, gibson. this team now has only a few home grown players, granderson, inge, and a verlander. most of the pitching staff via trade, bondo, willis, or free agents, rogers, jones.

tigers just went out 1,2,3 for the 2nd time in 3 innings. thank God i have the red wings and pistons. lions also suck.
