102 Will Big Brown win the Triple Crown NO (-140)

I think this is a steal at -140, of course if he wins the Preakness, I may hedge my bet

I think the Preakness is his to lose. Belmont could be a different story. Good luck Bigs!

LOL I can see the NO bet but why would any retard pick the YES at +120? You can just bet the horse twice and surely get better than +120 just in the Preakness alone, right?

          GL BW

          PEACE

Actually, no. He'll probably be 2-5 in the Preakness. If he wins the Preakness, he'll probably be 2-5 again in the Belmont.

For what it's worth, his biggest challenge will be be Casino Drive (unbeaten Japanese horse) in the Belmont

Even a 2 horse parlay at 40 cents which is what the 2-5 is still a payback at 8:5 which is better than the books are giving at 6:5.....the horse would have to be at 1:5 for both races to make that YES bet worthwhile.....simple math

                    Pimp,

I'm not getting your math. Bet $100 at 2-5 you cash a $2.80 win ticket.

                    That's $140.

Bet $140 at at 2-5 and cash another $2.80 win ticket. You get $196 back.

You profit $96 on your original $100 wager. That's just under even money, not 8-5.

+120 is not a very good price for anything so difficult and rare.

But it is going to happen this year. Take "YES" and thank me later.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

BW, good luck and I hope you are right, but, +120 don't sound too bad to me right now....... He'll be 1-5 in both races.

gris look in the horse forum,i posted casino drive several days ago,i think big brown goes 1 to 5 or lower in the belmont if he wins the preakness and that was a mAjor consideration in taking a shot with casino drive,he is up against it though, big brown is way the better horse, just gambling due to the odds here and the possibility of a bounce if brown wins the preakness-THIS IS MY STRONGEST PLAY SO FAR THIS YEAR-LOVE TO TAKE A SHOT WHEN EVERYBODIES ALL EMOTIONED UP ON A HORSE IN THE SPOTLIGHT-LATER BROTHER IRONCHUNG !!
