Just wanted to bump the thread as I hope some people can take advantage of the prop play. I know a lot of people don't bother with props but you have a pretty good chance if someone isn't going to play. (see above)

I have been checking all day, and I have 4 different credible reports that Franzen is in Detroit having tests done.

#1)Detroit @Dallas PROP BET. Total points scored (goals + assists) between Johan Franzen and Brad Richards -115
PICK is Brad Richards -115 (this is a 2 unit play, why not)

Plain and simple analysis here..............................Johan Franzen is NOT going to play tonight as he has been ruled out of game 3. It is said that he did not even travel with the team and is seeing a specialist today in detroit. So worst case scenario here is if Brad Richards doesn't score a point it's a push and we get it back.

#2) Detroit Red Wings -120 ML (1 unit)

Just going to keep riding the wings, no strong analysis here except for the fact that detroit is going for the 8th straight win in the playoffs, and they have owned dallas over the years.

RICHARDS SHOOTS..............HE SCORES !!!! THANK YOU BRAD RICHARDS ! I hope at least 1 person followed that play. What is more unbelievable is that the books kept it up all day. I know hockey is on the short list but what planet do you live on when the guy who broke gordie howe's record, and holds the new one for goals scored in the amount of games played in the playoffs is OUT. (12 goals in playoffs and 27 in his last 27 games) I mean the guy wasn't even in Dallas, I checked all day long and at 6 pm franzen was still in detroit.

The reason it was only 2 units is this IS hockey and a guy could get on a plane at 3 in the afternoon and wind up being cleared by team doctor's and playing that night. (happens all the time)

We hit the Red Wings ML also. (a few rumors were circling about how the physical play of dallas @home would neutralize Pavel Datsyuk. Some dallas players said they were not that impressed by his play) how about a hat trick, you impressed yet ?

Now 5-0 with these pick's, 6-0 if you count the first wings game with the Detroit series play still pending............Wings now up 3 games to 0.



Looking at tonight's game now, I did not see any penalty minute props for last night's game and I don't see any yet for this game. Still looking at all angles will probably be back with a play.

yes sir KB you are correct. There are reports that coburn could play tonight but he won't. There is no damage to his eye but trust me it's going to be pretty hard to play with 1 eye considering the other 1 is swollen shut. (especially defense)

In addittion the penguins lost all 4 games at Philly this year, and 3 out of 4 of those games went over the total. (just remember KB penalties in the regular season are not necessarily penalties in the playoffs) IMO it is Pitt defense that is winning these games. You can talk all you want about crosby and malkin and all the scoring but the defensive and goaltending #'s are even better than the offensive #'s.


personally I will probably take the game straight, I really don't like the over/under as Pitt is up 2-0 and will play cautiously, waiting for philly mistakes. Then again those mistakes could come in bunches with philly's defense situation. If I was going to take it I would go over.

I just don't see how philly can win here. Yes they won all 4 home meetings during the year. That was with a healthy roster, and with crosby missing at least 1 if not 2 of those 4 games.

With Philly's blueline situation, the pens should not have trouble scoring. The top 2 Defenseman are out for Philly, which makes Hatcher the top defenseman. Not to take anything away from hatcher but at this stage in his career for him to be your # 1 defenseman (in the "new" NHL) is not a good thing. ( not to mention pitt has only lost 1 game in these playoffs)

I think philly and Biron have already come back down to earth, they have not been in this position in the playoffs. Let's see how they react.

WINNER Well, Pittsburgh had no trouble at all scoring. Philly is just not skilled enough IMO to stay with Pitt. Philly and Biron have definitely come back down to earth, we saw how they reacted to being down 0-2 and soon they will be on the golf course.

Been on a nice run with these picks going 7-0 with the detroit series still pending, hopefully they wrap that up tonight.

I have 2 picks for tonight both props, (at least check em out, i have hit both props so far this playoff season)

PROP #1 Total points scored. Goals, plus assists take BRAD RICHARDS -115 over Johan Franzen. Plain and simple once again.........johan franzen is NOT going to play tonight. He has been cleared to start light workouts in detroit, but no contact. So once again if Richards doesn't score we push and get it back.

PROP #2 Total points scored. Goals plus assists Take TOMAS HOLMSTROM -115 over jere Lehtinen. Guess what, I bet you will never guess.....................yep it's that simple once again Jere Lehtinen is Not going to play tonight. This info is a little less credible than the detroit info. I will be checking media reports all day and will update this if anything changes but right now Lehtinen is OUT for tonight. Again if holmstrom doesn't score we push and get it back.
