This game was blown by Grady Little NOT Kim! YES KIM SUCKS......BUT first of all Timlin blew people away in the 8th and without a doubt should have pitched the 9th second Kim is the closer hate it or not and he should have stayed in the game to sink or swim with 2 outs. He just struck out the previous batter and righties are batting .227 against Kim and lefties .221 so the lefty should not have mattered. Third you don't pinch run for Manny in the 7th knowing you might need his bat later...... granted he struggled but he is still dangerous and you don't take him out of the game PERIOD! 4TH you don't pitch Lowe 50 pitches when he is the game 3 starter, what the fuck is he thinking? Bronson arrojo and i probably spelled that wrong but he has been lights out in setup roles pitching 2-3 innings..... WHERE THE FUCK WAS HE? Anyone that watched that game til 3 AM like i did has to know Grady Little is the worst manager in history! Wayne and Nut, I agree with your observations about Kim and Grady Little, Timlin was throwing well, and should have stayed in, however, in the playoffs, IMO, managers tend to manage by the book and go with their "closers" anytime a save situation is in order.

How long will he go with Wakefield today?

This is the 163rd Sox game i have watched and anyone besides Grady and we would have had a Division Title. He's been a fuckup ALL year and by the book is not pulling out your closer with 2 outs in the 9th when he just struck a guy out. His book is made up by himself. What other manager pinch runs for Manny with that much time left in the game knowing he might get another at bat? He's done that several times this year and cost them games. As far as Pedro goes i have NO problem with him or his pitch count, he's had plenty of rest all year and it's the playoffs. He might not get another chance to pitch anyway!
