  • Celtics should be embarassed-

The Celtics organization- from top to bottom- should be absolutely embarassed by this game 7. Do they really need a 'na na na goodbye' chant for beating THE FUCKING HAWKS in a game 7. Gimme a break. Its a 40 POINT GAME and you have these jackasses running up and down the floor dunking and bumping chests. What a joke.

Your franchise has won 16 NBA titles, and you guys are acting like a bunch of fuking bozos after beating THE FUKING HAWKS who won a whopping 37 games this year.

Any team worth a damn would have closed this out in 5 games tops. And certainly wouldn't be runnin around like they won a title for winning a 1st round series.

Maybe they know it is the last series they are going to win and they were celebrating?

Maybe it's a bunch of guys who haven't had a lot of playoff success being happy and showing emotion. Guys get criticized so often for "going through the motions" and now getting criticized for showing too much.

These tough series like this in the end will probably help the Celtics I think....its teams like the Lakers that are plowing through people who will get full of themselves and be primed for the let down.....losing can be very helpful because it is very humbling.

                          PEACE

I believe the Hawks got under the skin of the Celtics. They (actually both teams) really wanted to show who they think they really are and did so. When it happened in Boston- they were 'exubiant' in their manner and paraded as they did- nothing less than what the Hawks were doing in Atlanta.
How will this affect their oncoming series with Cleveland- It matters about who brings the most intensity. Hawks showed it at home- will Cleveland be game enough to do same?

I agree! Teams that have tough series become battle tested. They learn how to win the tough games. Teams that waltz through an easy series often don't perform as well deeper into the playoffs when the games become tighter.
