Split hockey on Monday losing a toughie on Philly over. Had over 11 minutes to score a goal and numerous 5-4 opportunities. Philly went into a defensive shell and Montreal couldnt get the equalizer, nor could Flyers net an empty netter.
Basketball game was tougher as with 37.6 seconds left they needed 11 points to send it over, and they did, by one.
Going strong on these:
62 NYR -130 (Just got 130 so thats what I will post, corrected from 145)
Paying a big price here but the Rangers couldnt catch a break in either of the first two and still lost two one goal games (Yes they lost 2-0 in game 2 but it was an empty netter). Look for the Rangers crowd to push them to a victory and Lundquist to be staunch in net. Hopefully the Rangers start getting some breaks. First time in 54 NHL picks I have picked the Rangers, so no, it is not a homer pick.
723/724 76ers/Pistons Over 179
Back in Detroit and the Pistons should put forth maximum effort. But what scares me about that is max effort might lead to them holding Philly under 80. If they do, Pistons have to get 100 which I think is very possilbe. Dont like laying so many points in the playoffs as my reasoning for not taking Detroit as a side.

Just think they are the better team, playing a closeout game in their building. 5 is a very manageable number and I think they get the job done here.
