Here is a guy who lost an average of 12 games & gave up an average of 26 HR's in his last 4 years with the A's. Yet the Giants paid 126 mil for him. This year he is getting lit up more than a bag of weed at Snoop Dogs house. The guy who thought it was a great thing to sign him ought to have his scouting license revoked. Now he is in the bullpen.

Sabean has many to choose from. Armando Benitez, trading Joe Nathan and Francisco Liriano for Aj Piersynzki, Edgardo Alfonzo, not to mention passing on Vlad a few years ago for what turned out to be a total bargain. This list goes on and on. How this dude still has a job and why he has essentially been given a free pass by the media out here is beyond me.

He actually traded Nathan, Liriano and Boonser for AJ. He's a smart guy, but he f'ed this team, he needs to go. I heard McGowen on the radio the other day, he said if they signed Vlad, they wouldn't have traded for AJ and therefor wouldn't have signed Zito. They'd still have Vlad, plus all those years before, they'd have Nathan as the closer. Boonser and Lirano in Zito's spot.
