This is my first baseball play of the year. I don't like playing baseball until I get a feel for how teams are doing and which pitchers are performing well.
Plays will be rated 1-4* but virtually all will be 1's. Most plays will be dogs. I'll play some small favorites. I never play run lines and I never play favorites over -140. My goal is to end up positive units (+20 is a very good year for me) and not worry about wins and losses.
1* Cubs +112
Yowza! The Cubs are a dog at home??? Chicago is 10-4 at Wrigley and gets to face a Brewers team that isn't hitting at all. Milwaukee has scored only seven runs in its last four games. To make matters better, Milwaukee pitcher Sheets returns after missing a start because of a sore arm and has to do so in very cold conditions. All three of Jason Marquis' starts have been solid. The wrong team is favored here.
