2.6 miles of 33 degree banking. Strap yourself in for 499 miles of bumb-drafting action at its finest. Actually IMO this is a tough race to cap. A guy could be running 1st all day slip up just once get a little high and could easily lose 10 spots. On the other hand someone that knows the draft could be in 18th with 3 to go and win this thing. Dale Sr. did just that, and has taught a few others including Jr.
This is a restrictor plate race and keep in mind also a impound race, so I really dont look heavily into starting position. Example Nemechek on the pole. he'll be lucky if it lasts a lap. Kyle Busch is a favorite @+500 but I dont think he has the patience yet to run in these long lines and may get himself in trouble, hopefully not causing the "big one". Gordon won both races last year but seems to be in a slump this year.
