I thought this franchise had won before? This is rather frightening...what would ever happen if they won a cup?

Rumor has it the Montreal police have an APB out for Chado.

NO it does not happen everywhere. I don't recall this mayhem when the Mets, Giants, Pats or Red Sox won their championships let alone a first round victory.

Frank, we are both wrong...I was a little overzealous in my use of 'everywhere' as it has not happened in NY as it did not happen when the NYY, NYR< NYG or Mets won. And I am sure there are other cities that have not had issues. I stand corrected.

It has happened in Boston on more than one occasion...in fact, a woman was accidentally shot and killed by police when they beat the NYY in 2004. It wasn't pretty when the Pats won in 2004 and then when the Sox won the Series in 2004...nothing happened when the Sox won last year as the Police instituted a zero tolerance policy and wouldn't even let you mingle on street corners. The issues always arose on the campuses on NorthEaster and BU...the schools have said they will kick out anyone that causes problems.

I wasn't aware and/or didn't recall Boston had problems.

New York has never had any problems with any of their championship celebrations. It's interesting because NY and NYers have an unwarranted reputation.
