Mets at 5-6 are getting hammered here in NY. Not necessarily for being 5-6, but more for being 5-6 to start the season after the season in which the masterminded the biggest choke job in many years blowing a 7 1/2 game lead in less than 3 weeks.
Even Santana got booed on Saturday by the Mets faithful after a less than stellar performance. Well, it has been widely reported that Santana already has grown frustrated with the Mets fans and it has also been reported that Manager Willie Randolph has grown frustrated with not only the fans, but with his own team. He is also becoming nervous that his managerial skills are starting to become the subject of debate all over the cities media outlets.
Mike Pelfrey is starting Tuesday's game and he doesnt know any better than to just ignore whats happening and go out and pitch. His young career has been put under a microscope since the first time he took the ball at Shea. Labeled the next big prospect, long before anyone knew who Phil Hughes or even Joba Chamberlain were, this 6 foot 6 kid hasnt lived up to expectations yet, but his first start this year gave us a glimpse of what could be. Because of that start, I believe he comes out with an even better one tomorrow. Willie is imploring his team to stop the fans booing and the media's bashing and he is the perfect guy to do it against journeyman Odalis Perez whose lifetime stats against the Mets arent horrible, but arent good either with a 4-5 record and a 5.40 ERA. This is by far the best Mets lineup he has faced and they will be hungry coming off the dissapointing home series against the Nationals.
Dont like laying so much juice but I am the Mets rep here so my choices are either the Nats or the Mets and I strongly believe the Mets win this game. So, with that thinking, the juice shouldnt matter anyway. Nats have lost 9 of ten after starting the season 3-0 and their only win in the last ten was against Glavine who just sucks and he also got hurt. They were spotted a 5 run lead and still almost blew it.
guys i really screwed up.was in a huger hurry and instead of putting the Marlins in made a mistake and put in the Rockies hope this does not come back to bite us.If you look at my Beer $$$$$$$$$$$ plays had Marlins picked
