need help on a baseball survior league

I might be entering a very large baseball survivor league, deadline is tonight midnight...The rules are pretty simple. The week runs Monday-Sunday. you pick one team a week, can only pick each team once the whole season. Your teams need to play atleast 500 ball (win hlaf its games) for the week.. if they do, you survive and mvoe on, if they dont, you are out..

Whats the best way to research which teams to pick? Im looknig at yahoo schedule day by day but its a little hard to do it this way..any easier suggestions to see all the games and pitchers for the upciomnig week? Anyone else in a league like this?

Just a few suggestions from me.

First I would make sure I get the really good teams out of the way by the 3/4 mark of the season. If they have a ten plus game lead in September they may coast down the stretch and play a bunch of September callups. I suppose same would go for teams out of the race.

Second, look for teams that are really strong at home and really weak on the road and since baseball schedules are set up with extended home and away stands, pick your teams according to their strengths.

As far as the question you asked in the second half of your post, it may take a little work to map out each team according to their rotation, but it is doable. I would print out the schedule of each team and research and fill in their rotation for the games already played. Thats pretty easy to do and wouldnt be all that time consuming. With that, you have their rotation going forward which just needs to be adjusted when weather and injuries changes it up.

This is mad hard guys...I'm looking ahead to next week and trying to come up with a pick (pending i dont get eliminated this week).. Strategy I wanted to run across.. Do u think its wiser to take a team that is playing 6 games than to take a team who is playing 7 games for the week? The rules of this survivor league is your team must play atleast 500 ball for the week inorder to survive. My thinking is, if your playing 6 games, all u have to do is win 3 out of 6 (1/2 your games)..if your playing 7 games, you have to win 4 out of 7 (over 60% of your games). So do you think its better to take a slightly weaker team playing 6 games or take a slightly stronger team playing 7 games ? (and i say weaker/stronger based on the team, who they r playing, and home/away games)
