Tech or Vols I am out all day tomorrow so I will post my pick here since the new thread isnt up yet.

Mets vs. Phillies again tomorrow and its Maine vs. Eaton. Last year Maine would usually follow up a bad start with a good start and his last start certainly was bad. In addition, the Mets go off the schneid tonight and ended their 9 game losing streak against the Phillies so they may be a bit more relaxed. I like the Mets to win this game and as of now Rollins is doubtful so that helps that the reigning NL MVP may not be playing. And by the way Im posting this 20 hours before gametime so his status could certainly change. Anyway, I dont play 160 favorites. Ever. So my play is

910 NY Mets -1.5 Runs +135

I love the value here since I feel that Maine has the stuff to come out and shut down the Phillies in this game. I love the fact for betting purposes that he is off an awful outing and thats my main reason for not playing the over in that Im looking for a strong performance from the Mets starter. As far as the under, Im not thrilled with that either since the Mets are more than capable of beating up Eaton a bit although he does have strong numbers against the Mets. But two of his starts took place during the streak last year in which the Mets offense just went to sleep regardless of who the Phils sent to the mound. So Mets laying the run and a half on the money line at a nice plus 135 is the play for me.
