I get her involved in march madness pools every year. As long as she has a shot she'll watch the games and it keeps me from having to watch some stupid lifetime movie with her during that time.

After she clinched our pool at work (outcome of champ game didn't matter). She told me she wanted to take her winnings and bet it all on KU.





We were at work. She came in to watch when there was 10 secs left, so all she saw was that and OT. At the end she said, "There was never any doubt in my mind that KU wouldn't win"

I told her, "There was plenty of doubt in my mind with 2:10 togo"



She has made about 4 bet in her live were she felt really strong about. Biggest mistake I made was only placing a $2 win bet on Giacamo when she wanted him in the Derby. Be4 the race at crumbled it up and threw it on the floor and said, "might as well put it there now." STUPID ME!!! She cashes spending $2 and I blow $300+ on 1 race and cash nothing.

Now she wants to go shopping rather than trying to cash in on Pyro in the BlueGrass Stakes on saturday. (yeah, 1-9 good luck)
