There was no fix on this period....I watched the whole thing....just good defense from the Rockets and the Clippers folded...got lucky that Houston made some late shots to barely get this one over.....I still am dumbfounded by what I saw the other night in Portland....I am convinced that game was manipulated as I know what my eyes saw
PEACE
Pimp I was kidding buddy---I never think any of this is fixed---I would bet the other side of the fix if I thought it was in---It was kind of a joke but..perhaps you took me the wrong way---as far as you seeing what you see I can understand but I have a hard time believing a whole team can be "in" on it---I am sure it would catch up to a team---a player---a coach--- a referee--I hate to think I wager and their is a fix---but then again it canhappen no doubt!

I dont think anyone in the NBA will ever point shave or manipulate an outcome but Its a proven fact totals can and have been manipulated as recently as last season....its not hard to manipulate a total once the outcome has been decided at all.....its actually very easy to manipulate a total if thats what they choose to do
And I am certain they do it thinking they are doing nothing wrong because after all its the total which has nothing to do with the outcome

I tend to agree with you based on some of the crazy stuff I have seen. And I totally agree that refs are involved as evidenced by the McGonahee???? fiasco. But as far as the players, my only thought would be Why? I mean these guys make millions of dollars a year. What could they possibly get out of it to make it worth the risk? That would be my only arguement against you in this one.

These players come from all sorts of different backrounds so its hard for me to accept that once they hit the NBA they are in the highlife and beyond all that....I mean the refs are compensated 6 figures minimum and live great lives probably and they get caught up gambling and into the hands of the wrong people....it was no coincidence that game the other day got middled, trust me it wasnt......that player who fouled for Portland with 15 secs left down 10 and Houston on their own side of the court dribbling out the clock was up to no good, period. Maybe it was him or somebody else on the Blazers who is caught up with something but that game was deliberately pushed OVER.....the outcome was decided and maybe a player mentions to another player that they need this game to end OVER for one reason or another. Pure speculation here but maybe someone he knows was caught up with the wrong people? Maybe he was? I dont know how to watch archived video but if anyone does I highly suggest taking a look at the last 15 secs of that game.

Pimpster, I saw the same thing you did with the Portland game. Trust me, I agree that it was completely ridiculous and totally unusual to see the guy fouling. I dont disagree with you at all. I also have seen even worse that that, believe it or not so I have always thought something fishy is going on. But all I know is that if I were making 10 million a year, I wouldnt bother making sure a game goes over or under for a few grand under the table. Thats all Im saying.
