I will post these now as I have played both. I actually love both of these games. I predicted the lines would be Memphis as a 5 point favorite and Carolina a 1 point favorite.
Memphis -2...................5*
All that you ever hear about this team is that they can't make foul shots. Guess what, they made them last week and it doesn't matter if they are up double digits.
I love the freshman Rose, as I am not sure why he is not hyped more. However, I think this Memphis team learned a lot last year. Last year they were eliminated by Ohio State in the Regional Final. Dorsey was a NO FACTOR last year as he ran his mouth too much and finished with 0 points and 4 fouls. I don't think that happens again as he will handle the young (but very talented) Love.
Memphis by 8
Kansas +4......................4*
Very strange (and maybe this is why I like both these selections) as Kansas lost the same day as Memphis last year to UCLA. Again, I think that they have learned a bit from previous years.
The reason for this pick is I think that they match up well with UNC. I know that Tyler won the Player of the Year but guard play wins in the tourney. I think Rush and Chalmers are the 2 best players in this game as they handle the ball the majority of the time. Although Lawson is getting better, he still is not 100% and that will hurt the Tar Heels. Tyler will be tough to handle but Kansas can bang with him. How can you go wrong with a name of Sasha Kaun?
Kansas by 6.
I will post bases and NBA later but I wanted to get my Final 4 thoughts in tonight when I had some time to post. Good luck and enjoy the # 1 seeds facing off.
