  • Miguel Cabrera scratched from lineup with sore quad

Miguel Cabrera was scratched from Thursday's game with a sore left quadriceps.
With Cabrera out, Brandon Inge shifts to third base and Clete Thomas replaces him in center field.

Something tells me this is going to be a trend with him. He's in such horrible shape.

Maybe for that 7th piece of pizza...but other then that, no.

It's really too bad cause he's so fucking good with the bat. He's got incredible potential, but has chosen not to go with it.

Thanks for the info. I was considering a wager on the Royals. Think now I am going to go for it.

He went from 240 to 220. That's not much of a difference to me IMO.

His potential is unlimited, but if he doesn't get into BETTER shape, this is the type of shit your gonna see, and believe me...making over 100 million dollars in Detroit, it's gonna be an issues. It wasn't an issue in Florida cause no one cares.

I hope he proves me wrong.

I still like the Tigers today. Bonderman had a 1.80 ERA against the Royals last year, and Greinke had a 9.31 ERA against the Tigers. 0-2 at home, they don't need the win, but they'll play hard to get it. Might get a better value with Cabrera out.
